'No Boys' mixing session @ Cherry Beach

Cherry Beach Studio in Toronto, is absolutely a dream to be in as you can see above; recording the likes of Rhianna, Drake... etc. Jhevon Paris and I were there mixing my single 'No Boys' last friday. We will be spending ample time there finishing my 5 song EP... stay tuned for release dates...

Whatever delusional world you choose to live in, you are living in a different world than anyone else. I really wish we could just be concerned about ourselves, instead of misdirecting our attention to someone else so as never to heal our own problems. Never to even see them. To always focus on something outside of ourselves. Seems less painful, but in the long run it will prove to be way more painful. So much so that it may break some individuals who didn't have the chance to develop themselves properly becasue of this ever growing delusional place. We are in control of our thoughts and what we choose to find purpose in.

Virtual Mind F$$K

We are now backtracking... we are so far gone. Thinking that we 'accomplish' something when we email someone we've never met, or send out invitations on twitter... its absolutely insane. People need assistants to help them email someone? Obviously you're in the wrong line of work. This social networking has been thriving and now will soon fall. Being famous isn't about being on some show one time - its about MAKING MONEY at what you do. How did we get so lost? We now have no value for anything. Adding someone on our social sites gives us more pleasure then smiling or helping someone in REAL life. WOW! Think about that for a minute... its quite disturbing.

Change

For me change is a must. Maybe because I am a Gemini, or because I am an artist... or cause I have ADD lol... jj. Even when deep in our gut we know it is the right thing, the only way, its still accompanied by this feeling of discomfort. This is just the awkward feeling after, something is different, your routine has changed. This feeling will too change with time. Time heals all and allows all changes to happen. Embrace it.

Trust

Actions Vs Words

Amazing words to live by. Words mean nothing if you do not back them with action. They go together. This shows everything about your character. To others and to yourself. Say what you mean and do what you say. Its that simple. I am sure thats how you would want to be treated. This is most important in the smallest things, where many think little white lies are meaningless. Everything you do is everything you are.

Just For Today...

Everyday is a new day to renew yourself. Yesterday doesn't matter, you can't change it, move on or you are wasting time. Honour the warrior you can be today. Don't trip on what's in front of you because you are too busy looking behind. This is your day, tomorrow may never come. Love who is around you now, what you are doing now. Its all we have.

Thoughts

Our thoughts are so powerful its crazy to think about and takes a while to grasp. They create our whole world. Whatever we think we project into the world, its crazy. And you see it happen instantly. We are so powerful. It is only natural for us to not let ourselves shine and have that fear that makes us sabotage ourselves. Having the knowledge of both choices should make the choice clear. You choose your thoughts and destiny... you can sabotage yourself, torture yourself with mere thoughts... or not. Your choice.

SMILE!!!

I truly believe laughing and smiling can heal anything. It's the best feeling in the world. Why not do it all the time???

Men VS Woman

We need to first understand that we are completely different, we actually don't even speak the same language. It's crazy because we think we do, then we wonder why we have such a hard time communicating, it's impossible sometimes, and having understanding is so hard because our thought processes are very different. I have spent a lot of time around men, more then women, so I am a weird mix of both. Men have no feelings, or they like to act like it, so much so that they believe it and have become numb. They cannot multi-task lol, at all, OMG life would suck lol. One thing on there mind all day so they miss out on so much!!! Women on the other hand are completely stressed out all the time, planning everything, worrying about stuff, creating drama's... its hilarious. What has happened to us? We are all looking so hard to feel something that we don't feel anything. We are trying to distract ourselves. It's sad. I wish we could all just try to understand each other.

Understanding....

My definition of Understanding would be... whether you agree or disagree, to completely understand and feel the state that person was in when they acted, said, did something. We all act according to the situation, according to moods and so many elemenst combined. To judge another is very ignorant. Understanding is compassion. Its real. Its forgiveness. I believe we are all on a path to which the end is the same, we have many obstacles on the way and so many choices... it determines it all... we write it. Make wise choices. No regrets... feel amazing with everything you do. Happiness is the only choice. I try to have understanding for everyone, try to have understanding for me.
